Optimize Apps

  1. Unlock your phone, tap the Main Menu.
  2. Tap Settings icon.

Clear YouTube App Cache

Update YouTube App

  1. Tap Main Menu icon.

  7. Tap “Auto-update apps at any time. Data charges may apply” option.

Turn Off Background Synchronization

  1. Open Settings page. Refer Steps # 1-2 from Optimize Apps section.
  2. Scroll down the page.
  3. Tap Accounts & Sync.
  4. Turn off Auto-Sync feature.

Note: If you do not wish to turn off synchronization of all apps, review each app and disable sync independently.

 

Get More Storage Space

  1. Open Settings page. Refer Steps # 1-2 from Optimize Apps section.
  2. Scroll down; tap Storage.
  3. Tap Make more space option in all following categories:
    • App Storage
    • Phone Storage
    • SD Card.
