Using a VPN, you will get an entirely new IP Address and you can bypass the daily quota without waiting for hours. However, you might still not be able to download the file if it’s too large in size. You could get away with this by downloading smaller files. If you’re using Opera, you can use the in-house VPN functionality to trick Mega into thinking that you’re a new user. To activate the VPN in Opera, click the Menu icon on the left and select Settings. Type VPN in the Search Box and move the Enable VPN switch to the right. It is recommended that you use a high-quality, paid VPN for faster download speed. Add a Mobile Number Another simple way to extend your transfer quota is to add your mobile number. Adding a mobile number will increase your transfer quota by 40 GB and add up additional 20 GB of storage space.
  1. Visit the Mega.NZ desktop software downloads the page and downloads the program to your PC. The software is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
  2. After downloading and installing the software, click the Create New Account link label on the sign-in page.
  3. Register a new account and add your mobile number when you’re prompted to do so.
Use JDownloader
  1. Visit the JDownloader Download page.
  2. Click on the download link for the Windows version and install it.
  3. Copy the link to your Mega.NZ file download and paste it into the Connection Manager tab in the JDownloader application.
  4. Open the Connection Manager.
    1. For Windows: Click on Settings, followed by Connection Manager.
    2. For Mac: Click on Preferences, followed by Connection Manager.
  5. Set the Max Chunks per download to 20.
  6. Set the Max Simultaneous Download to just 5.
  7. Enter your Proxy settings in the new dialog except those flagged in red. Your proxies must be in this format: http://44.112.143.114:8080
  8. Save the settings and start the download.
