Disable the Antivirus and Windows Defender Check whether your Antivirus and Windows Defender programs are turned on. Disable both the programs as follows: Press the Windows Key + X simultaneously. Select Control Panel. Click “Review your computer’s status” link under the System and Security category. The Action Center page will open. Check whether your Antivirus program is installed; and if installed, then whether enabled or not. If you find an active Antivirus program and it is enabled, please disable it. The steps may vary.
