Run the Program in Different Windows Environment

A software is said to be incompatible when it fails to operate in a specific Windows environment. The software components fail to perform in harmony as the software itself might be designed for a previous Windows version or a different system type, say you’re running an application designed for 64-bit on a 32-bit OS.

  1. Click the Start icon on the Taskbar.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Type Troubleshooting in the Search Box of the newly opened window.
  4. Click the Troubleshooting icon from the Search Results.
  5. Click Run programs made for previous versions of Windows under the Programs category.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Is your program listed in available programs list? If so, select it. If the program’s name is unavailable, select Not Listed option.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Depending on the previous option selected, the new page will guide you through the compatibility troubleshooting process.

 

Re-register Windows Store App Components

Windows PowerShell is powered with various administrative functions to change important system settings and user preferences. Re-register Windows Store component files using the command given below:

  1. Type PowerShell in the Search Box on theTaskbar.
  2. Right-click Windows PowerShell, select Run as administrator.
  3. Now execute the following command:
    Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

 

 Clear App Cache Content

If you encounter Internal Error 2335 with a specific Windows Store app, go to it’s application data directory and delete the local cache content.

  1. Click the File Explorer icon on the Desktop.
  2. Navigate to the following location:
    C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache
  3. Delete the LocalCache folder contents.

 

 Configure Correct Date-Time Settings

Correctly configure your date, time and timezone settings.

  1. Type Date & Time Settings in the Search Box on the Taskbar.
  2. Make sure that the date-time information is not auto-synced. Move the Set time automatically slider to left (Off).
  3. Click the Change button and set your local appropriate date and time.
  4. Select your timezone from the relevant drop down box.
  5. Exit the screen; reboot.
